Once or twice a month VNS students have a blended learning day where they do not have to come into our school building to learn. These days are designed to allow students time during the traditional work day to work from a different environment, be out in the community learning, and work towards their project goals. Students set goals for the day and some of the unique things they do include: community service, hunting, interview live sources, field trips, extended and uninterrupted time to work on projects etc.
